Zusammenfassung: | Serviceability requirements for medium to high-rise buildings have been the focus of much attention in the wind engineering community in recent years. Although guidelines for acceleration levels have been suggested for multi-story buildings, relatively few codes, except the NBCC, have any established criteria. The purpose of this paper is to examine the wind-induced behaviour of multi-story buildings, with particular emphasis on results from instrumented buildings in Iceland. |
