Zusammenfassung:	Highlights • We determined the benefits of prolonged length of stay (LOS) for video EEG monitoring. • Patients with presumed PNES were more likely to have inconclusive admissions, p = 0.033. • No LOS was associated with inconclusive admissions in presumed epilepsy patients. • For presumed PNES, a LOS ≥5 days was associated with higher risk of inconclusiveness. • Prolonging LOS appears useful for the proper classification of epileptic seizures.
