Zusammenfassung:	Highlights • We report a 72-year-old female patient with secondary acute lymphoblastic leukemia (sALL) following chemotherapy. • Cytogenetic analysis showed a t(t(5;11)(q23–31;q23) with rearrangement of MLL. • Long distance inverse-PCR revealed an in-frame 5′ MLL -3′PRRC1 fusion. • Fifty-two of the 54 patients with sALL reported in the literature received at least a topoisomerase II inhibitor.
