Response of incretins (GIP and GLP-1) to an oral glucose load in female and male subjects with normal glucose tolerance
Abstract The aim of this study was to analyze the blood glucose profile and the response of incretins in healthy young subjects by the 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). We first reported that plasma glucose and GIP levels were higher in males during the early phase of the OGTT.
