Zusammenfassung:The Hyogo-ken Nambu Earthquake occurred on January 17, 1995 brought tremendous damages to the Hanshin and Awaji Districts. Many fishing port facilities were damaged in Hyogo, Osaka and Tokushima Prefectures. In this paper, damages in fishing ports in these districts were surveyed and analyzed, and liquefaction analyses were made. Damages to gravity type structures were significant though the damnages to structural types such as sheet piles were small which had small dead weights for the main bodies of structures. Also it was apparent that the prediction and judgment for liquefaction could be made by using "fishing Port Manual (draft).
