Testing for Endocrine-Mediated Effects

This panel discussed existing and emerging test systems that are applicable to evaluating and characterizing synthetic and natural chemicals as potential endocrine modulators. The advantages and disadvantages of each system were discussed as well as research needs. The following four papers realistically take into account the EPA's current interim position concerning the possibility of adverse effects on human health and the environment.
