Zusammenfassung:In this study the influence of X-ray computed tomography (XRCT) on the microbial community structure and function in soils has been investigated. Our results clearly indicate that XRCT of soil samples has a strong impact on microbial communities and changes structure and function significantly due to the death of selected microbial groups as a result of the treatment.
