Economic relations between the European Union and Peru: Analysis of the Free Trade Agreement

After a long time of negotiation and preparation, the Free Trade Agreement between Peru and the European Union finally entered into force on the 1st of March 2013. This Free Trade Agreement will bring changes, challenges and new opportunities for the European Union and Peru. Peru will have access to the European market and the European Union can count on a new strategic partner in Latin America in terms of business relations.
