Zusammenfassung:To the Editor: The Partnership for Patients model test (PfP), discussed in a Perspective article by Pronovost and Jha (Aug. 21 issue), 1 is a large-scale quality-improvement program designed to make hospital care safer, more reliable, and less costly by engaging the nation's hospitals in work to reduce 30-day all-cause readmissions and preventable all-cause harm. We are writing to respond to several points made in the article.
