Planktonic bioluminescence in the pack ice and the marginal ice zone of the Beaufort Sea

Planktonic bioluminescence in ice fields and in the marginal ice zone was studied by means of bathyphotometer casts and biological collections made at a depth of 100m. The results are discussed.
