Uptake of plutonium by alga Dunaliella and bivalve Meretrix

Plutonium uptake from seawater by Dunaliella indicated kd (ratio of Pu in alga to that in seawater) factors of 10 super(4) similar to those obtained for sediments. However transfer ratios for Pu from contaminated sediments for Meretrix) was 10/4 for short term periods ranging up to 20 days.
