Zusammenfassung: | The findings are presented of a study conducted in order to determine the distribution and relative seasonal abundance of 0, 1, and 2+ age classes of the demersal species found most frequently in catches from the Gulf of Lion. The data obtained enable the identification of the areas which the demersal species prefer to inhabit, which include the lagoons and nearby coastal waters (within 2 miles of the coastline) and also the continental shelf. Maps are provided which show the quantitative seasonal distribution of juveniles of Merluccius merluccius, Mullus barbatus and Solea vulgaris in the region. |
