Zusammenfassung:A series of TiO sub(x)/C composites were prepared by pyrolyzing a Ti-containing MOF MIL-125, which exhibited excellent catalytic activities towards the photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) in aqueous solution. The best photocatalytic performance was achieved in MIL-125 pyrolyzed at 1000 degree C due to its high surface area, reduced Ti sub(3)O sub(5) composition, and conductive carbon matrix. This work represents a novel approach towards TiO sub(x)/C composites as photocatalysts.
