Zusammenfassung: | Different levels of the environment and food contamination with the carcinogenic substance, benzo(a) pyrene (B(a)P), were determined in Lithuania in the last decade. The influence of various environmental and food categories to the risk level showed that the main amount of B(a)P gets into the human body by food chain and this intake comprises more than 50% of all the analysed categories. |
