Zusammenfassung:	Rothstein finds fault with an individual attributes model, which predicts correlation between individual characteristics determining dominance and hierarchy rank, used by Jackson and Winnegrad in their study of the degree of linearity of dominance hierarchies for various birds and mammals. Jackson thanks Rothstein for correcting their error, but defends that the model should not yet be rejected.
