Immediate impact of Hurricane Hugo on a Puerto Rican rain forest

A study measured the impact of Hurricane Hugo at two study sites in the Luquillo Experimental Forest (LEF) in northeastern Puerto Rico. Results showed that hurricane damage to the vegetation was not uniform throughout the LEF.
