The syntheses of (2- super(14)C) 2,5'-anhydro-3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine and (2- super(14)C) 2,5'-anhydro-3'-azido-2',3'-dideoxy-5'-iodouridine in a one pot operation under mild conditions are described.
