Zusammenfassung: | Two methods, the mass-balance technique and a tracer technique, were used to determine carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides emission rates from Augsburg, Germany, and modeled emission rates were calculated at two precision levels using two different modeling methods, which are described briefly. Results are presented from a comparison of the modeled and measured total CO and NO sub(x) emission rates on each day of the study. The results show generally good agreement between the modeled and measured emission rates within stated confidence intervals, although modeled NO sub(x) emissions rates tended to be overestimated. |
