Zusammenfassung:	The reported geographical range of Corethrella appendiculata Grabham is extended northward, of C. brakeleyi (Coquillett) westward, and of C. wirthi Stone northward and westward. All North American localities from which specimens of Corethrella have been collected are below 152 m in elevation, with three exceptions. The egg of C. appendiculata and the egg, larva, and pupa of C. wirthi are described and illustrated. Keys to the known larvae and pupae are presented.
