Zusammenfassung:Aim To assess the impact of transobturator tape (TOT) procedure on female sexual function as well as their male partners. Materials and methods Sexually active 28 women and their partners included for the study. Before TOT operation, the patients completed incontinence impact questionnaire (IIQ-7) and urogenital distress inventory (UDI-6) to assess the effect of surgery on incontinence. Also the women and their partners completed a self-administered questionnaire evaluating the female sexual function index (FSFI) and international index of erectile function (IIEF-5), respectively. Three months after TOT surgery, the women were asked to complete IIQ-7 and UDI-6 questionnaires to measure the success of TOT procedure. Also, FSFI and IIEF forms were completed by the women and their partners to assess TOT-related sexual life change.
