Health Effects Associated with Wastewater Treatment, Disposal, and Reuse

For the past few years, several studies have been conducted to determine various health effects associated with wastewater treatment, disposal, and reuse. A summary of the topics covered by these studies are given. These are organized into subtopics including wastewater collection systems and treatment plants, contamination of water supplies, contamination of fish and shellfish, contamination of recreational waters, wastewater reuse, and hazardous substances and wastes.
