Height vs water depth for small sand ripples – An aid to palaeohydraulics

Relationship between small ripple height and water depth is determined by conducting series of experiments in a 'close circuit.' The findings are cemmared with the previous studies. The dimensions of subaqueous bedforms are known to be dependent on water depth, flow velocity and grain size.
