Michenera artocreas in elm wood infested with Scolytus multistriatus in Australia

Michenera artocreas has been found in elm wood with Scolytus multistriatus, a vector of the Dutch elm disease fungus, in Melbourne. A possible relationship between the beetle and this Basidiomycete is being investigated.
