Weight loss and N release in decomposing wood litter in a eucalypt plantation age series

My study was designed to compare the weight loss patterns and changes in the N content of branch wood litter of an age series (1-8y) in eucalypt (Eucalyptus tereticornis sm) plantations. These plantations were raised after the clear cutting of natural mixed broad-leaf forests. My objectives were to determine the decomposition rate of wood litter for an age series of eucalypt plantations and to see how wood litter decomposition was affected by soil characteristics.
