Zusammenfassung:	We report the karyotypes of eight specimens referable to Ctenomys mendocinus from three localities in Mendoza Province, Argentina: two females from Cruz del Paramillo; four females and one male from Road to San Isidro, 15 km W Mendoza; and one female from Nacunan Reserve. Voucher specimens were deposited in the mammal collection at the Centro Regional de Investigaciones Cientificas y Tecnicas in Mendoza.
