Zusammenfassung: | Anaphes nitens (Girault), the most important biological control agent of the eucalyptus snout beetle Gonipterus scutellatus , is redescribed, from specimens from South Africa. Two new species of Anaphes Haliday from Tasmania, A. tasmaniae and A. inexpectatus , also from egg pods of G. scutellatus , are described and compared with A. nitens . A key is given to separate these species. Lectotypes are designated for Anaphoidea nitens Girault and its junior synonym A. gonipteri Ferriere. |
