Zusammenfassung: | Black liquor from the paper pulping process, consists of about 20% by weight of sodium which cause high inorganic concentration in the flue gases. The combustion aerosols at recovery boiler furnace at about 900 degree C was measured. Samples were extracted from the furnace using a quench probe. No crystalline phases were observed in the particles 0.0305-0.0631 mu m collected in the furnace. The formation of alkali salt aerosols in the recovery boiler furnace and the effect of sampling on combustion aerosols are discussed. |
