Zusammenfassung: | In order to suppress scum formation due to Nocardioform Actinomycetes (Nocardia sp.), an experiment was made by adding ozone at a small rate in the aeration tank of the real plant in operation based on the oxygen activated sludge process. It was clarified that adding ozone at a rate of above 1.2 mg/l-raw water suppressed scum and Nocardia. The treated water quality was good, and no influence of ozone on the activated sludge was seen. |
