Zusammenfassung: | The urticarias from a heterogeneous group of conditions that can be viewed from a variety of perspectives: as features of atopy, anaphylactic reactions, anaphylactoid reactions (pseudoallergy), genetic diseases, vasculitis, or as reactions to physical agents or contactants on the skin. A common clinical classification would include acute hives, chronic urticaria, urticarial vasculitis, the physical urticarias, and contact urticaria. There has been a growing recognition that chronic urticaria is an inflammatory disease. Thus, much of the current research in this area has attempted to elucidate pathogenic mechanisms that may be relevant to chronic urticaria. |
