Some ectoparasites of bats from Halmahera Island, Indonesia

New host and distribution records are given for some ectoparasites of the families Nycteribiidae, Streblidae, Ischnopsyllidae (Insecta), Argasidae, Laelapidae, Spinturnicidae and Trombiculidae (Acari) removed from eight species of bats collected on the Indonesian island of Halmahera.
