Observations On the Mass Upstream Migration of Varuna Litterata (Fabricius) Megalopae (Decapoda, Brachyura, Grapsidae) in Fiji

In April 1987 we observed a mass migration of the megalopae of Varuna litterata in Vango Creek near Suva, Fiji. Behavioural observations and simple physiological experiments were carried out on these larvae both in the field and laboratory. The results are presented in this paper.
