Zusammenfassung: | An experiment was conducted in which subjects, using four semantic differential scales, rated their impressions of 288 streetscape images, each of which contained three color-simulated signboards. The preference ratings of streetscapes were made keeping in mind the effect of the street and signboards, even though some interactions were observed. Streets with office buildings rated higher than landscaped suburbs and streets with traditional buildings. This indicates the differences in considering certain aspects when we evaluate streetscapes with and without signboards. |
