Effect of Softening on the Mechanical Properties and Formability of Ribbon from Alloy 3104

Softening of aluminum alloy 3104 after warm rolling at 150 – 200°C is studied. Mechanical characteristics of the alloy are determined and x-ray diffraction analysis is performed. The effect of softening on formability of drinking cans is estimated.
