An Individual Patient Data Metaanalysis of Outcomes and Prognostic Factors After Treatment of Oligometastatic Non–Small-Cell Lung Cancer

Zusammenfassung:Micro-Abstract The management of patients with oligometastatic non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is controversial. The findings of this metaanalysis of 757 oligometastatic NSCLC patients treated with ablative treatments to all sites of disease suggest that the timing of metastatic disease (synchronous vs. metachronous) and intrathoracic nodal status are key determinants of long-term survival. A risk classification scheme is proposed to guide clinical decision-making.
