Description of three new species of Barbus from West Africa.

Three new species of Barbus are described as a result of a revision of the West African species: B. bigornei n. sp. (Guinea, Cote d'Ivoire), B. inaequalis n. sp. (Liberia, Cote d'Ivoire) and B. foutensis , n. sp. (Guinea). Their relationships and distribution are discussed.
