Zusammenfassung: | At present, a law of similarity between a model and a full scale artificial floating fish reef does not exist. A model based on Froud's similarity law was thus designed. To estimate the angle of inclination and hydraulic resistance of artificial floating fish reef to various current velocities, experiments on the model and full scale were carried out. (I) The angle of inclination is the same tendency until the current velocity is about 60 cm/s for the model scale experiment. The angle is about 10 degree larger when the same experiment was carried out on a full scale. (2) The hydraulic resistance is the same tendency when the current velocity is about 60 cm/s for the model and full scale experiments. As the values of hydraulic resistance converted from the model to the full scale are increased by about 30%, the values become almost equal to those of the full scale. |
