Hepatoprotective effect of silymarin on di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) induced injury in liver FL83B cells
Highlights • DEHP, a toxic environmental pollutant, caused liver injury in FL83B cells. • Silymarin could ameliorate DEHP-induced injury. • Silymarin can reduce LDH, ALT and cell population of sub-G1 and S phase. • Silymarin at 25 μM achieved the highest hepatoprotective effect.
