Zusammenfassung: | The occupations involve a higher complexity then two decades ago. The fact that the occupations in the present needs more qualifications, abilities, skill, ingenuity, etc., emphasizes the importance of education and training to help workers cope with this challenge, namely, the change of tasks composition of the occupations. In generally, there is a strong bond between the increasing demand for high levels of education (training and skills) and the supply of technical and organizational innovation. The article includes comments regarding employment structure by level of education and occupational groups; the dynamic of structure of employees from research-development activity and the research development expenditure on performance sectors. At the end of the article there is presented an analysis of the relationship between types of research and development expenditure and composition of research and development workforce in 2005 and 2011. The study presented below has in view the Romanian case. |
