Zusammenfassung:Rapid biochemical differentiation of the zoopathogenic species of Conidobolus from those of Basidiobolus may be made on the basis of aesculin hydrolysis, and the presence or absence of arginine-arylamidase ("trypsin") and beta -glucosidase activities as determined by the API ZYM system. These biochemical measurements are especially useful as an aid in determination of atypical isolates.
