Unroofed Coronary Sinus Atrial Septal Defect: Diagnosis by Multimodality Cardiac Imaging

Mini‐ Unroofed coronary sinus is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly. It is a communication between the coronary sinus and the left atrium. The associated interatrial shunt can cause right atrial volume overload and possible paradoxical embolization. It is classified into four subtypes on the basis of the extent of the roof absence and the presence of persistent left superior vena cava. Although the diagnosis can be suspected by two‐dimensional echocardiography, three‐dimensional echocardiography and computerized cardiac tomography provide incremental value in delineating the precise anatomy of this condition.
