Degradation of the herbicide chlorpropham by some ectomycorrhizal fungi in pure culture

Ectomycorrhizal fungi when grown in soil may come in contact with the substances such as herbicides. They are able to immobilize chlorpropham by adsorption or absorption and they are also able to degrade it to 3-chloroaniline.
