Biological activity of terpenoid lactones as juvenile hormone analogues against the mustard aphid, Lipaphis erysimi

Several a, beta -unsaturated gamma -lactones were evaluated for their JHA activity. Some of the compounds were quite active in the mustard aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (Kaltenbach), resulting in the production of supernumerary instar nymphs, nymphal-adult intermediates and adultoids.
