Characteristic features of specific binding of pentapeptide HFPGP labeled at the C-terminal proline residue to rat forebrain plasma membranes

The aim of this work was to study the characteristics of the specific binding of the pentapeptide HFPGP with plasma membranes of various regions of rat brain and to determine the influence on this binding of close structural analogues of the pentapeptide, which are the products of enzymatic degradation of semax, as well as known ligands of the most common neuroreceptors.
