Combination of HDAC inhibitor MS-275 and IL-2 increased anti-tumor effect in a melanoma model via activated cytotoxic T cells

Highlights • HDAC inhibitor, MS-275 inhibited B16 by G1 arrest, but not IL-2 in vitro. • The combination of MS-275 and IL-2 had a significant anti-tumor effect in vivo. • The anti-tumor effect was due to the increased number of activated CD8+ T cells.
