Age-related differences in kidney injury biomarkers induced by cisplatin

Highlights • Cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury was severe in young rats. • Cisplatin increased urinary excretion of KIM-1, VEGF, and TIMP-1. • Urinary protein-based biomarkers may help in early diagnosis of young patients.
