Zusammenfassung: | On the basis of 35 oblique tows made off the East coast line of the Gulf of California, from Bahia Kino, Sonora to Teacapan, Sinaloa, a larval census and the spawning biomass of Monterrey sardine were estimated. The relative abundance and distribution areas of fish eggs and larvae are shown. The average surface temperature for positive stations was of 18.6 degree C (14.4 degree C-22.5 degree C); the night/day ratio was of 6.0 for all collected fish larval sizes. |
