Zusammenfassung:In order to inquire into the situations of job satisfaction among physical education teachers in higher learning institutions of Shaanxi province, this thesis takes 366 PE teachers of higher learning institutions in Shaanxi province as research samples through questionnaire. The empirical research reveals that PE teachers of higher learning institutions in Shaanxi province are most satisfied with their jobs. On average, as to job satisfaction, PE teachers of higher learning institutions in Shaanxi province are most satisfied with working relations, respect and information communication. They are, however, least satisfied with salaries and benefits. Moreover, they are not very satisfied with working conditions, growth and development, management regulations and participating making decisions.
