Zusammenfassung: | A system is presented which can be used by government, industry or academia for systematic selection of limited numbers of chemicals from greater numbers, as is needed for o.a. priorities for further investigation and for development of policies for environmental and health protection. The system is based on the same principles as hazard assessments, although it is not pretended that this priority setting can replace hazard assessment.
The system presented makes little use of differentiated weighing when processing the information which is necessary for the selection process. This gives users the possibility to attribute weighing factors according to their needs without modifying the scoring system. |
