Zusammenfassung: | Non-isothermal pseudoplastic flow within the laminar boundary layer on stretching sheet is analyzed. Using similarity transformation, the time dependent governing equations are reduced to a highly-correlated non-linear ordinary differential equation system. The system is then numerically integrated using a novel combination a Runge–Kutta algorithm and shooting technique. Effect of several values of governing parameters such as unsteadiness parameter, pseudoplasticity index and Prandtl number on velocity and temperature profiles, apparent viscosity and heat transfer coefficient are explored in detail. |
