Zusammenfassung:ABSTRACT This article presents a low‐profile dual band printed Inverted‐L (IL) shaped monopole antenna with Parasitic Inverted‐F (PIF) shaped element in the ground plane for 2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz wireless local area network applications simultaneously. Owing to coupling 006‐Ff microstrip line‐fed IL driven element and PIF element, a compact radiator of 8 × 12 mm2 is realized and tested. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
